Harvey relief efforts

Graduate Counseling Professor Michael Ellison, Ph.D., visited the mega shelter in Dallas housing the evacuees from Hurricane Harvey. Susan Dalrymple, LCSW, MPA, BS ’90, regional coordinator for EMDR Therapy International, Jessica Martinez, MA '10, LPC and Chad Anderson, MA '12, LPC also aided in the relief efforts.

Chad and Jessica supervised the Mental Health treatment of hundreds of evacuees in the most trying of circumstances, demonstrating the mission of the University during a national crisis. Several additional volunteer counselors, all graduates of the TXWES counseling program, were also there.
