Professor Neumann speaks at TCC as part of STEM lecture series

Dr. Terrence Neumann spoke to students at Tarrant County College's Southeast Campus. As part of the Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) Lecture Series, speakers are invited to help raise awareness of STEM careers. Students are encouraged to attend to hear personal stories about potential careers.

Dr. Neumann discussed growing up in rural Wisconsin, his career path and influences on his career. Laboratory research across undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral and independent labs have been central to his career. Students had to opportunity to learn about two ongoing project's in Neumann's lab, including the investigation for new antitubercular and antibacterial drugs and the search for new food pairing based on food metabolites.
