President's Ambassadors

Become a President's Ambassador

The President’s Ambassadors (PA) are an elite group of students chosen to represent the President and the University because of their dedication to their school and exemplary academic performance. Their goal is to unite current students, staff and faculty, alumni and the community, plus share the values of Texas Wesleyan.

You’ll see them promoting University initiatives and student philanthropy initiatives at special events.


  • Serve as hosts at presidential and other University events
  • Serve as ambassadors for University philanthropy — supporting Flat Willie Fridays, TAG Day and other alumni student programs
  • Serve as positive advocates of Texas Wesleyan University


Nominations for the Wesleyan PAs are submitted by Wesleyan faculty and staff (assistant director and above). A maximum of 20 students serve per academic year. The PA advisor from the Office of Alumni Relations will advise the group and coordinate all meetings.


  • Maintain full-time status (enrolled in a min. of 12 hours)
  • Completion of at least 30 hours, but no more than 100 hours
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Ability to participate in numerous University events throughout each semester
  • Member of at least one University-sponsored organization prior to and throughout PA membership
  • Represent University in a positive manner at all times
  • Possess strong leadership and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and outgoing
  • Meeting attendance (1-2 times per semester as set by the PA advisor)
