Be a Board Member with Student Affairs

09.12.2017 | By: Texas Wesleyan University
Ram Camp 2

The Division of Student Affairs is looking for students interested in serving in a leadership role. Could that be you? Currently, two boards are seeking students interested in the advancement of student and campus development, activities and engagement.

The Student Development Board positions will recommend individuals and organizations to receive funding through the Division of Student Affairs. The Student Development Fund seeks to promote the personal and professional development of students and student groups. Funds may be used for a variety of reasons including, but not limited to, deferring the cost of a variety of event expenses, registering for conferences or travel. The role of the board is to review submissions for this funding and make recommendations.

The Signature Events Board positions will develop, coordinate and assess current divisional campus-wide events. The Signature Events Board seeks to engage students, enrich campus life and promote TXWES pride through quality social, educational or cultural programming.

All of the roles on the board will be flexible and should fit into any schedule with ease. If you have an interest in serving your TXWES community, while in a leadership position, please contact Barbara Barnhart Assistant Director for Student Engagement at or 817-531-6522 for more information. Additionally, if you have any interest in applying for funding please click here or email with any questions you have.
